However, this Turbo SE version will only be available in certain markets, such as Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, excluding the United States. This model marks the last Lotus vehicle with a combustion engine.
The Emira Turbo SE boosts the standard four-cylinder engine’s power from 360 to 400 horsepower, with torque also enhanced from 43.8 to 48.9 kgfm. The drive remains rear-wheel, with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The new engine ensures superior performance, accelerating from 0 to 96 km/h in 4.0 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the base model, and reaching a top speed of 290 km/h.
In addition to mechanical upgrades, the Turbo SE comes with the Lotus Drivers package, which includes stiffer suspension, upgraded brakes, and launch control. Design-wise, the model features satin gray forged wheels, red brake calipers, and exclusive badges.
Although there are no confirmed plans for its arrival in North America, Lotus has not ruled out the possibility.
